A good fit
- ✓Solid programming skills (Python; PyTorch is a plus) and a willingness to build.
- ✓Comfort with the math behind machine learning — linear algebra, probability, optimization.
- ✓Curiosity about efficiency: quantization, pruning, LLMs/VLMs, agentic AI, spiking networks, or hardware-aware ML.
- ✓Self-motivation, honesty, and a collaborative attitude. Backgrounds from all disciplines are welcome.
